 تقع في إطار الجزء الأوسط  لمحافظة تعز.الحدود: شمالها : مدينة تعز جنوبها: مديرية المسراخ شرقها:مديرية صبر الموادم غربها: مديرية صبر الموادم .
المساحة : 14.8  كم2 السكان : 24.70 نسمة الكثافة السكانية:1.67/ كم2
التقسيم الإداري :
تتكون إدارياً من (عزلتين فقط هما (مشرعة) و( حدنان) وفيهما 19 قرية و79محلة..
القرى لعزلة حدنان (11قرية + 43محله) والقرى(ذعنقب نجد ذعنقب المحرس عدن ديمة نمه الكشار حدنان الحجف الاشاني ميهال حدنان حدابة )
القرى لعزلة مشرعة( 8قرى +36محله ) والقرى هي (مشرعة ميهال مشرعة نجد مشرعة وادي الوجيه الصناحف المسالية المجيرين تبيح )
 وتعتبر عزلة حدنان أكثر سكاناً (12.441) نسمة ، وأكبر مساحة  (8 كم2) حسب تعداد2004م..ففيها(10قرى+25محلة)..
 بينما عزلة مشرعة(8 قرى+28محلة) ..
 مركز المديرية يقع في صِـيْـنة مشرعة وحدنان ..
o المواقع والمزارات الأثرية والتاريخية والسياحية:
تميز المديرية بموقعها على الجزء الشمالي من جبل صبر والمطل على مدينة تعز.. ولذلك تعتبر المديرية متنفساً للعديد من سكان تعز والزائرين للمحافظة.. كما أن بعض أجزاء المديرية مهيأ لإقامة العديد من المنشآت السياحية المتميزة..
من أهم المزارات ما يُعرف بمزار (الطيب).
oالأنشطة الاقتصادية للسكان :
يعتمد معظم السكان على عائدات الإنتاج الزراعي وخاصة زراعة القات وتسويقه .. كما أن بعض السكان يعتمدون على عائدات بعض الأنشطة الاقتصادية الصغيرة الأخرى كالتجارة والنقل والمواصلات .. بالإضافة إلى أن هناك نسبة من السكان ملتحقون ببعض الوظائف في القطاعين العام والخاص ..  تعتبر الحالة الاقتصادية لسكان المديرية متوسطة.
oالمقومات الاقتصادية للمديرية :
أولا : الإنتاج الزراعي  : - الحبوب :  من أهم المحاصيل التي يتم إنتاجها في المديرية ومنها الذرة بأنواعها ، والشعير.
- الخضروات و الفواكه :  منعدمة نظراً لصغر المساحة الزراعية.
- البقوليات : يزرع الفول بكميات متوسطة في عدد من عزل المديرية ، وتكثر زراعته في عزلة مرعيت.
- القات : يحتل جزءاً كبيراً من المساحات الصالحة  للزراعة ، وتشكل عائداته مصدراً مهماً لجزء هام من سكان المديرية .
ثانياً : الرعي وتربية الحيوانات :  نشاطه محدود من حيث النوع والكم ، نظراً لوعورة السطح وشحة الغطاء النباتي وعدم توفر المراعي اللازمة لممارسته .

Mashra'a Wa Hadnan District and one of the Directorates Hdnan Mount patience Taiz province . A population of 24544 people in 2004.

Located south of the city of Taiz , about (22 kilometers ), almost surrounded by the Directorate of condolence from the north , on the east by the Directorate of patience Moadm , on the south by the Directorate of Jabal Habashi , on the west by the Directorate Mqubnp and an area of 14.8 km 2 , The Population: 24.708 inhabitants.

Consists administratively ( Azlten only two ( legislator ) and ( Hdnan ) and two 18 villages and 53 locality . Considered isolation Hdnan more populous ( 12.441 ) people , and the largest area (8 km 2 ) By 2004 census , wherein ten villages and 25 locality , while isolation legislator ( 8 and 28 villages in the locality ) , and is located in the center of the Directorate Sana legislator and Hdnan . Directorate is wide open and the youngest is Hdnan Directorate in the province of Taiz .

Archaeological sights

Characterized by the Directorate on its northern part of the mountain patience and overlooking the city of Taiz , and therefore are considered Directorate outlet for many of the residents and visitors of Taiz province . Also, some parts of the DG set for the establishment of many of the properties have outstanding .. It is the most important shrines known as Mazar ( good and Aremeima ) and several villages where there are very beautiful ' is characterized by its beautiful scenery.

Economic activities

Most of the population depends on agricultural production and revenues , especially qat cultivation and marketing .. Also, some people rely on the proceeds of some other small economic activities such as trade , transport and communications , in addition to that there is a percentage of the population enrolled in some of the jobs in the public and private sectors . Considered the economic situation of the inhabitants of the Directorate medium .

First - agricultural production :

Grains: of the most important crops that are produced in the district , including the types of corn , and barley .

Vegetables and fruits : non-existent due to the small agricultural area .

Legumes : beans grown in medium quantities of a number of isolated Directorate , abound grown in isolation Mreit .

Qat : occupies a large part of the arable land , and constitute an important source of revenue for a significant portion of the population of the Directorate.
